SCHOOL RULES
1. Every student should carry his/her diary to school every day and use it productively.
2. Students should arrive at the school five minutes before the bell.
3. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed with clipped nails and neat hair- do. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions.
4. Id. Card is a part of the uniform and must be worn at all the times.
5. For boys hair should not touch the ears,the collars or eyebrows.No fancy hair cut will be permitted. For girls, hair should not touch the forehead. Ticks are not allowed . Hair beyond shoulder length should be plaited well. Tattooing is prohibited.
6. The school is not responsible for loss of any article. It is not advisable to bring valuables(like gold ornaments,expensive electronic gadgets, storage devices like CD/DVD /Pen drive etc.,) which are not relevant to academic pursuits.
7. The school reserves the right to suspend students whose progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or damaging the school's reputation.
8. The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all the belongings of the student.
9. Late comers, uniform defaulters and children who do not complete their home work regularly will be dealt with as per the norms of the school.
10. All students should be present on the reopening day of each term.
11. Birthdays are auspicious and important days. Some of you may like your child to celebrate with his/her classmates. Even if you desire so, please send only biscuits/fresh fruits/dry fruits/ Chocolates or any natural food items. Offering gifts will not be entertained on birthdays. However story books may be given which will be kept in library so that other students can have access to all the books.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Disciplinary measures will be enforced on students who indulge in the following activities.
1. Damaging school furniture or thing(s) / belongings of other students.
2. Writing or drawing anything on the walls/ Benches.
3. Indulging in uncivilized behaviour like shouting, whistling or throwing things at others.
4. Reporting late to class after break time and interrupting the teaching process frequently.
5. Bringing sharp or injury-causing articles, books not relevant to their course work, costly articles, gold ornaments and electronic gadgets.
6. Using abusive language.
7. Scribbling or writing anything on the shirts or uniform.
8. Bullying and using any form of violence against a fellow student.
9. Cheating/unfair practices during examinations.
10. Tattooing.
ATTENDANCE
1. It is compulsory for all the students to maintain 100% attendance during the course of the academic session. The students with 100% attendance will be felicitated with a special certificate.
2. Students who were sick should bring a medical certificate from their doctor on returning to school.
3. The student who was absent on the previous day will not be allowed to the class without a leave letter from the parent.
4. Leave can be granted on special grounds.
5. Repeated absence without leave letter or unexplained absence for more than three consecutive days renders the student liable to have his / her name struck off from the register.
HYGIENE
To lead life as a healthy citizen of tomorrow, the student of today should take care of his / her health and hygiene through
1. Balanced Diet
2. Physical activity.
3. Ample Sleep.
4. Dental care.
5. Cleanliness of hands and legs.
6. Good posture.
7. Maintaining cordial relationship.
8. Good attitude towards life.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Students should wear the prescribed uniform on all working days. If there is any valid reason for not wearing full uniform, a note of explanation is expected from the parent.
REGULAR UNIFORM
For all Classes (except Pre-Primary) Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday : Regular School Uniform in black sports shoes, Icon socks, tie, belt & ID-card as decided by the School authorities.
SPORTS UNIFORM
For all Classes (except Pre-Primary) Monday, Wednesday and Friday : House colour sports uniform in black sports shoes, Icon socks & ID-card as decided by the School authorities. Students are allowed in colour dress only on their Birthday.
SCHOOL TIMINGS
For all Classes : 8.15 a.m to 4.40 p.m
Pre-Primary : 8.15 a.m to 12.35 p.m
Office Timings : 8.15 a.m to 5.00 p.m
Principal's office : Monday to Friday Parents can meet Principal from 4.40 p.m to 5.00 p.m.
PARENTS
VISITING HOURS :
From Monday to Friday For all Classes. Teachers will be available between 4.40 p.m to 5.00 p.m.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Parent can meet the teacher when PTM is Organised.
1. Parents/guardians must not visit their wards or teachers in the class rooms without the permission of the Principal on other days.
2. Parents/guardians must sign on report cards and return next day.
3. Parents should observe the school circulars and abide by them.
HOUSES
Houses provide an excellent opportunity to bring out the latent talents in children at all levels. Inter-house competitions in co- curricular and extra- curricular activities will be conducted under the guidance of Principal to promote healthy and competitive spirit among students. School children participate in these activities through different houses with their respective house identity colours.
